Please be mindful that they will add 18% tip automatically to your bill. I found out after I told the girl at the reception that I am ready to pay with my debit. She gave me the terminal and told me about the additional charge. Happened to me recently when I dined in with 5 people including myself (as per the menu, the 18% gratuity is only added for a group of 6 people). They did not advise the customers prior to dining in and felt it being dishonest. I love the food but service and the charges flawed. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

Good experience and food for reasonable price. Order the set menu so you can try everything, just fyi you eat with your hands and they don't serve anything with alcohol.

The food is great & cooked well. However, the place is small and the air conditioning is not enough that it feels uncomfortable after a while especially the place is often packed on weekend.

Food was amazing! The garlic fried rice was one of the best I've had from a filipino restaurant. Definitely a spot to hit up if you're in the area!

The food looks good, but unfortunately, I couldn't eat here because they only offer one dinner option, which includes shrimp. I'm allergic to shrimp, so I couldn't try it. They do have more options, they just have breakfast, but not for lunch or dinner. They should add more variety to their lunch and dinner menus. Just one dinner plate?

We got the Kamayan for four people and it was delicious! Amazing portions and everything was a hit. Especially liked the fish and the pork skewers, great flavours. The mango salad was nice too. Friendly staff and good service. Looking forward to trying their breakfast options next time!

After Tala closed during COVID, they reopened under Tinuno. This is the first time I have tried traditional Filipino food that is not served on a plate. It has been a while since I had to eat with my hands and the experience was awesome. The Kamayan feast basically gives you a taste of everything, you can choose between tilapia or milk fish, we chose the milk fish because the meat is more dense. It was grilled to perfection, perfectly salted. The squid was grilled just right, tender and moist, so are the shrimps and mussels. Simple flavors, the way they should be. The pork belly and pork skewers have the basic sugar soy garlic marinate, Chinese style, perfect fat and lean ratio. I love their bottomless garlic rice, I think I had 2 refills it was so good. Small joint, I would recommend reservations, there is always a line but the turn over is fast if you decide to wait. Strongly recommended!

Interesting food presentation on banana leaf. Combos of meat, poultry, fish, and rice. An experience to use fingers to eat food.

Went here with my coworkers to try out their infamous kamayan. The food took a while to arrive, but understandable since there were six of us. The food was SO good and comforting and tasted like home as well. I will definitely come here again if I was missing Filipino food. Place was a bit tight but prices were decent for what you’re getting.
