My friend and I came here on Saturday for dinner. The only reso left was at the bar, but when we arrived, the hostess was able to seat us in the cute little window spot. Our servers were very friendly and attentive the entire time. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants in Toronto, and Rasa is one of the most memorable meals I’ve had. Our server brought out complimentary pao de quejo, which were delicious. We ordered the octopus + chorizo, the truffle gnudi, and the pork al pastor. Everything was a 10/10 — the flavours were incredible, the texture was spot on; we were really impressed. The cocktail we ordered — the milk punch — was also perfect — a combination of sweet and bitter, with a complexity that left us wanting another one (and we did in fact order a second). We will absolutely be back!

This was simply one of the best meals I've had in Toronto. I went here for my anniversary with my partner and from the moment we sat down we were presented with excellent service, drinks and incredible foods. I really can't recommend it enough.

We had a good time with friends here. We like the drink and vibe. But the food was ok to us. Very heavy on the sauce, portions are not big. They told us there were two portions of the burger, but really it was one burger cut in half. We did not feel we had enough food for the price we paid, so we went to Chinatown after for dim sum.

Had our anniversary dinner here and the staff was amazing. Complimentary Prosecco and a small appetizer. Food was phenomenal as well. Loved the burger and the octopus. All very good. Would recommend to come here! Our server Ken deserves a shoutout. Hilarious guy, easy going, attentive.

I was recommended Rasa by a coworker, so I decided to give it a try. The food was amazing!! I sat at the bar since and the bartender was attentive and conversational. I ordered a mock tail and the lamb dumplings. I was surprised by a little amuse bouche cheese bread that was awesome!! Then I finished off with the chocolate crunch for dessert. All the good was to die for!! Highly highly recommend this place!

Fantastic food and service. What a great full tasting menu! We will be back for sure!

Amazing service and food!!!! Must visit place! Dishes are small in portion and a bit pricy but it’s a great place to hang out for occasions and dates. The dish with gochujang mayo was amazing we all screamed 😆 Im so curious with the jangahchi menu. I will try this one on my next visit! Their drinks were all super delishy too💖

Great service, good food and atmosphere. Did the tasting menu at $65 CAD per person. Chopped salad, chickpea fritters (yummy), ceviche, truffle gnudi (yummy), grilled octopus (yummy) and rasa burger ( yummy). Desert was a sticky bun.. the best I ever had must get if you go.

We ordered their classic tasting menu ($65 pp, 7 courses including dessert of choice). Despite some of the Google reviews that said otherwise, we thought the portion sizes were great and felt stuffed by the end. I wasn’t able to eat the spicy ceviche due to the raw fish, and they were very accommodating with substitutions (was offered squash cakes instead). Our server was attentive and very friendly, and offered a small additional dessert at the end, along with a candle, as we were celebrating a birthday. We thought the dishes were all a bit too salty, but that may be personal preference. Their drinks, including their mocktails, were excellent!

To sum it up: community. By far, out of the hundreds of restaurants I’ve tried, Rasa is by far my favorite dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the feeling of community embraces you. The space is warm and relaxing with inviting seating that keeps you close to your fellow patrons while leaving you with plenty of space to easily enjoy your group’s night. From there, the staff explain the menu: a shared experience among your party, deepening the message of community. Your plate is stamped with the words “Thank You” in various languages to showcase their gratitude for joining them for a night filled with global influences. And that’s the best part: each and every dish lives up to this, embodying different ingredients and techniques from across the world all in one plate. It’s as if the chef is saying “this is what happens when the world comes together,” providing you with some of the best dishes you’ll ever find. Not to mention, the menu is constantly changing and evolving with each season. The food is present beautifully, extremely thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. It out competes most michelin starred restaurants I’ve tried, yet rids itself of any “poshness” to maintain their feeling of community. Rasa’s staff, venue, and food all bring in the theme of community, and each dish truly showcases the beauties that can come from a culturally diverse plate. To say the least, Rasa will forever have a place in my heart, and their meals there will not only change the way you view food itself, but the way you enjoy it.
