Stadt Cafe

Popped in here Saturday night on the last day of summer. Walked by it a thousand times before. Just decided tonight to give it a go. Wish I had checked it out earlier. Awesome spot in the Junction. Great atmosphere, really good selection of craft beer and the mostly German fare on the menu was a cool change. We tried two of the schnitzels- they were both super tasty. Will be back here. Recommended.

This is a regular spot for me. It is a quiet, relaxing spot to dine and/or just enjoy the good variety of beer and cocktails. The atmosphere is clean, dim, and rustic/industrial. Seating is very comfortable with booths and two comfy leather chairs at a round table near the front by the fireplace. There are high stools by the bar and the entrance. There is no patio, but it's very cozy and nice inside. Thursday night tends to be Margarita night and Bryce makes exceptional margaritas! Some of the best I've had. On one occasion Stadt was our first group stop on my birthday and I had a mishap with my full beer, but he quickly replaced it and cleaned up our table area without me asking for anything. All the servers are great. Ariel, you made some great cocktails and you're always so pleasant. This place is a gem. The brew flights are wicked.

The beer was very good, especially the house Stadt draft. At least three of taps were not available so what was on the beer menu was not what was actually available. The food, unfortunately, was distinctly average. The curry wurst was neither curry nor really wurst. The rösti appeared to be some crunched up potato chips topped with dill cream cheese and smoked salmon - compared to rösti I've had in Switzerland it was far from the real deal. So, I'll probably come again for the beer, but probably skip the dinner menu.

Good schnitzels, and large beer selection. $8 flights on Fridays.

Great local beer selection and really cool vibe

I am blown away by this place. The food and beer is always fantastic. Friendly staff and good vibes. Relaxing is the word I would use for the atmosphere. Great place to meet up to if you're into Craft Beers. There is a lot of selection in the Junction and this is one of the great places! To the reviewers who have given less than 4 stars, I recommend coming back and trying them out again, I'm fairly confident you'll change your mind.

As a beer lover, I love the incredible selection they have here, especially the Raspberry Sour....so delicious !
