Thai On Yonge

The restaurant was empty but it had lovely seatings/atmosphere overlooking Yonge street. Reminded me of restaurants in Thailand’s beaches. Very nostalgic and the delicious food just added more to it.

Delicious street Pad Thai.. tasted the same as the best I had in Thailand. Super friendly service. Kap Kun Kap

This hidden gem serves delicious thai dishes. The Panang Curry and Rad Nar Talay are a must try. Tom Yum Soup and Thai Crispy Chicken are good appetizers. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cosy.

Mmm so very delicious... This is my go to place to eat. Very good prices, great tasting food and lots of different options. Feels like I’m back in Phuket.

I have ordered from this restaurant a good number of times. I am usually quite satisfied but recently, i ordered take out and they got my entire order wrong. I called them to let them know and they ended the call on me. I called them back to have them scoff, laugh, and aggressively tell me to just eat the food. They said they had no one to deliver the food to me, which I understand but I do not understand how anyone would think to tell a customer to just eat the food anyway when the food is not what they wanted or paid for. This speaks volumes.

Came for lunch. Food was alright. Pad thai and soup were way too sweet. Not very authentic overall.

Came here for a workplace lunch and we all got the lunch specials which were reasonably priced for the downtown area (around $14 for a combo of spring rolls, soup and entrée). I was dissapointed with my pad thai containing alot of noodle clumps. However, the hot and sour soup was one of the best I've had, so flavourful.

First time at this restaurant. The food was good but my plate, cashew nut tofu, was a bit bland. The server was helpful.

I had the Penang curry and it was fantastic. Bright, flavourful dishes abound! I dined here with other members of the Tourist Guide Association of Toronto as part of our effort to get to know the hidden jewels in Toronto and try restaurants we’ve never been to before. We all enjoyed our meals and the general consensus was we’d happily recommend Thai on Yonge to our tour guests who are looking for some great Thai food at a reasonable price (which is rare downtown)!

Great little spot. Everything we ordered was excellent quality and flavor. Friendly staff and great location.
