10/10 service, food and atmosphere. Everything was so thoughtful and delicious. I got the tasting menu and wasn't disappointed. For ~$88 a person it's so worth it.

Really wonderful restaurant and highly recommend. We’ve wanted to come for a while and are glad we finally did! It’s really cool that you can see the chef’s making most of the food right in front of you if you have a bar seat, and the place has good vibes overall. The food is great and there are a lot of really fun and interesting flavour combinations. I strongly suggest trying the fried chicken—it ended up being one of our favourite things, although everything was good! All the seafood was very fresh and well prepared. Definitely coming back to try some of the other things on the menu!

Had an awesome tasting menu here. It's not heavy at all, feels like an appropriate amount of food. Was great to sit at the bar and watch the prep. Every dish was excellent. The uni toast was quite interesting and we loved the sashimi plate.

Disappointed at our experience. We had the tasting menu and the food was mediocre. The vision was there, just poorly executed. Otherwise, the space was cramped and the waiter picked up my chopsticks several times to move them out of the way.. which I found unsanitary. Paid about $250 before tip. Would not recommend.

I was here a couple of years ago and had the uni don which was great. I came here again to try their tasting menu for $88 pp. i liked the food - it was fresh; the value was decent since there were oyster, uni, lobster and wagyu. I personally found the uni (from BC) alright… wasnt rly the best quality imo although the quantity was good. The wagyu was also good, but i wasnt blown away by it. I rather enjoyed the lobster noodles. The udon was mixed in a fusion pesto and perilla? Leaf sauce and had an interesting earthy and nutty taste. They gave a good portion of lobster as well. Nice place for a date, drink menu a little limited in my opinion but the tasting menu hits all the checkboxes and isnt too expensive.

We tried to walk in for a tasting menu but unfortunately they had a table only available for an hour so we had to go for a la cart menu. Everything we tried was delicious, scallop handroll and chirashi dons were exceptional. Service was amazing as well. Definitely will be back.

We discovered this restaurant as a recommended ‘date’ place for our anniversary. They went above and beyond to accommodate our allergies, and provided excellent customer service paired with fantastic food and sake. We opted for the tasting menu, which was worth the price point. Highly recommend.

Cute Japanese spot by Baldwin St. The space itself isn't huge but it is cozy and intimate. Fish and seafood overall is fresh and nicely cooked. Dessert is also to die for. Tasting menu was $88 pp

My recent experience at Omai was nothing short of extraordinary. We tried the tasting menu which was an absolute delight. From the exquisite oyster and uni starters to the succulent wagyu and lobster mains, every dish was a masterpiece. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were simply delicious. I left Omai Toronto feeling not just satisfied, but truly inspired. If you're looking for an unforgettable culinary journey, look no further than Omai. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Truly a gem in Toronto's dining scene.
