As dining out gets more and more expensive, it is always such a win when I find great food at a great price. At Supreme Taste on Broadview just south of Gerrard you’ll find an authentic Chinese restaurant with dishes priced lower than most. It is a traditional Chinese BBQ house. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice ($13.95). It normally comes with a disk of scrambled egg on top but I requested mine sunny side up which arrived perfectly fried. The small to medium-sized shrimp were abundant. Fried rice here is Hong Kong style meaning it’s light on soy and has bits of scrambled egg throughout. Each bite with runny yolk, shrimp, and a generous helping of scallions, is the perfect bite. This serving is huge and more than enough for one person if it’s all you order. Customer service is top notch; staff and owners are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Decor is very typically Chinese: a few Fortune Kitties (Fat Toy Mew) at the back, fluorescent lighting, and tables and chairs. All very basic, all the more to showcase the truly outstanding cuisine. Huge bang for buck.

Ordered take-away a few months ago: bbq & roast pork on rice. It was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was full of Chinese people (heard Cantonese & Mandarin), which is a good sign.

I wish I could've tried this place's BBQ duck and chicken with vegetables combo...but unfortunately, I have a peanut allergy and they do use peanut oil for the duck preparation. I wholeheartedly appreciate the owner's recognition of my allergy and instant contact to advise as to a potential issue, along with a swift cancellation for the order, given this issue. I look forward to trying other dishes in the future if I am able to. This place has A+ customer service, I can see why the reviews are so great.

What a pleasant surprise! Competition is good… no longer can the neighbouring restaurant monopolize the business. This one actually much more generous when it comes to the petty stuff (we don’t have to ask for extra dipping sauce like bbq pork sauce or ground ginger and onions). You would love the bbq duck and salted fish fried rice if you’re a native canto diner. So authentic and worth the effort to drive down here for their food. I hope them stay their course and don’t take their customers for granted (like king’s). I will be back for more bbq meat 😋

Best spot for Chinese food. Great food. Always fresh and tasty. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. I was excited when this spot popped up a couple of years ago. Thrilled that they did not disappoint. I grew up in Toronto and sad to see all the great places for Chinese have moved outside of the Toronto core. This place is a treat! You should treat yourself. Easily located in the East Chinatown area. Ttc stop right in front. Green P and street parking near by. Two doors down from the bike sauce. My go to place to pick up fresh sides for dinner. Grab some vegetables at the grocery store near by then grab delicious bbq meat, pop home, make rice, dinner in 20mins. Or grab a combo, or eat there. I'm very fussy about Chinese food and this one hits the spot. Owners and staff always friendly. I don't write reviews much but think this one absolutely deserves a top notch one! Kudos to you Supreme Taste!!!

We had such a fantastic dinner at Supreme Taste. Service was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was perfect. First, a pot of tea. Small dining area, a lot of take out hussle, noisy and busy. As I said, perfect. We ordered barbecue duck and pork with rice, snow pea leaves with oyster mushrooms, and congee with pork and preserved egg. Every bite of our meal was delicious. We especially enjoyed the congee. If we were here longer we would return soon to experience the rest of the menu.

Our family loves Supreme taste! The staff are so kind, food is delicious, service is quick, and prices are always reasonable. One of our favourite spots to go out in the east end.

Super yummy. I can't believe this place is so close to me and I just tried it. They renovated and prob some of the best Chinese food I've had in the city. If you get take out and the roast duck, put the oven on broil and 👨🏾‍🍳👌🏾😘. Fried rice was really fresh and tasty also. I didn't take pics cuz I devoured but will def add. Super friendly server also who gave me her own personal Fanta cuz I saw it and wanted one.

Honestly, one of my favorite local places. The owners / team here are amazing. They get to know you personally. We have kids and they always try to make them feel special. I feel so happy that this local business is here... and hope they are thriving!
