Edulis Restaurant

Got the chance to experience this One Michelin star restaurant. Service was exceptional and amazing. Very cozy and ambiance appealing. The decor and the mushrooms accents were great. Our server was top notch, explaining the details of the 7 courses and complimentary amuse bouche, where selected etc. especially from their locally available garden. Time spent here was an experience.

We really wanted to like this place. It was incredibly difficult to get a table and it took a few months. Firstly, the service was OK and the optional extra Jamon and cheese course were both great. The drinks were also good. However, all of the rest of the food was bland and the portions were tiny. It also took forever with way too long in-between courses. Even with purchasing two extras, we were still hungry. The main event was a tiny sliver of chicken and a small piece of sausage. The lobster course was three very small pieces, it seemed like they used 1 lobster for the whole restaurant. We've had tasting menus at many restaurants all over the world and just don't get the popularity of this one. Nothing special and I expect a tasting menu to be enough food without adding courses.

Undoubtedly one of the best meals we've had in the city. The waiting and many attempts/failures to book over the years were well worth it.

Incredible. After over a year of trying to get a reservation here, I can say it’s worth the hype. Go in with an empty stomach and get ready for a mind blowing culinary experience.

Disappointing. We waited for years to finally go to Edulis this weekend. The service was good, but the food was very underwhelming. Nothing special. It felt like we could’ve done most of it at home. The highlight of the experience was the cheesecake - nothing special about it but the rhubarb, but definitely a good cheese cake. We did the Sunday lunch menu*, so I can’t really talk about the dinner menu.

Please note that my experience with Edulis Restaurant was very limited, but it basically ended at the beginning. This appears to be an establishment that does not respond to e-mails. I was planning to dine with them and sent an e-mail inquiring about their wine corkage policy. Having received no response after a few days, I sent a follow up. It has now been seven days. No response. I'm sure the cuisine is outstanding but if the level of service is so low how do customers even get in the door? I would be pleased to reassess my evaluation if Edulis would like to reach out. Thank you!

There is no brief way to describe how divine every meal I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying over the years at Edulis has been. If there is such thing as a ‘perfect’ restaurant- Edulis is it. Toby & Michael are beautiful and talented human beings, who have created a magical place that over delivers in every way possible. Calling it a ‘restaurant’ barely does it justice. Every time I walk through those doors it feels like being welcomed into their home, and I get literal butterflies in anticipation of the (likely borderline life changing) meal I’m in for. I’m always so pleasantly surprised by how they remember all the little quirks and preferences of myself and my husband, and accomodate them without even being asked. We hosted our engagement party there years back, and the menu they created for it (without us having any hand in the process) was so personal it blew me away, and I remain touched by that act of hospitality to this day. I will likely never have any savings (sorry mom & dad) due to the absurd percentage of my income I spend dining out, and after many years of reckless (and, frankly, borderline financially catastrophic) gluttony- I can safely say there is simply no better dining experience than an evening or afternoon spent at Edulis.

Awesome This is not a perfected corporate system on purpose but a life style for 2 artists. Only 5 employees? Only 20-25 seats a night. Been to over a 100 Michelin restaurants and many of the top and this place due to its individual character and talent holds its own.

Incredible as always. Nothing else to say. One of the best in the city.
