The Keg is my favourite celebration restaurant. My birthday, our anniversary. Love love love the steaks, excellent drinks, consistent great service and caring employees.

Great location, we grabbed dinner with friends. We love the Keg located on King West, great service and food there but we found the Esplanade location a bit lacking in comparison. Wings at this location has a different recipe that we don't enjoy as much. Server seemed to be more hurried and didn't ask if we were celebrating a special occasion. We ordered the Omega cut prime rib, all good here.

We celebrated my husbands birthday and our anniversary here tonight. Our Server Neil was so kind and attentive. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. We would definetly recommend for any special occasion. Neil definetly made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you!

We spent the night in Toronto for my husband’s birthday. We have been to The Keg many times but never at this location. We enjoyed an incredible dinner but wanted to leave a review about our awesome server. Neil was SO amazing. Super personable with a great sense of humour which made our dinner that much more enjoyable. Thank you Neil, we absolutely enjoyed meeting you and would go back just to have you as our server again.

Came here with my good friend last month and had a nice time. Overall, the food was good, but their “new” red wine reduction is actually awful—it tastes metallic-y, like it came out of a can. The filet is still delicious though, and so was my red sangria, so I can’t be too upset! Service was great. Would (mostly) recommend—just skip the reduction, or perhaps try another sauce!

If you can’t drink for religious or personal reasons. Don’t bother coming here. We came in as a four top this past Wednesday. The moment we ordered pop and water as our beverages. The quality of service we received immediately dipped. We were ignored our entire stay, despite flagging down and having eye contact with our server, he did not visit our table once. We watched him visit the tables around us who had ordered bottles of wine time and time again. And it was clear we were ignored because we weren’t drinkers. We didn’t even have water for a majority of our stay. Did not feel welcome one bit. Do better Sam.

You need to give that server a raise. Impeccable service through and through! Ive dined at 1000s of restaurants and he was amazing. The food was delicious. Cook on steak could be more true to asking but flavour delivered. The service was aligned. Some othet keg locations you barely finish your appetizer before yout mains arrive This was staggered perfectly.

The food was excellent, however, it took forever to get our orders in. We had to flag our servers several times. We ordered a glass with dinner, yet we finished our dinner and once again flagged down our server to remind them that we had not gotten our wine…not impressed. We go to The Keg often and this is the very first time I was extremely disappointed in the service. We were celebrating 2 birthdays in our group. We had to ask for our bills and the server asked if we wanted dessert, yet we had to catch our train and couldn’t wait any longer. Won’t be going back to that location. It’s sad when you spend that kind of money on a celebration to be disappointed by the service.

I'm givin this a 3 but it could easily improve. The food is of course standard keg that is delicious and well executed. Service is prompt and professional. My major issue with this location is the atmosphere. The bar area is ok if you are with a group and intend to drink or have appetizers. But the dining area beside the bar is poor. The seating is uncomfortable and it has TVs but you can't really see them so it's this midway point between casual dining with sports on TV and formal keg which of course ends up doing neither of those things well. This wouldn't be so bad if the main dining area was solid but unfortunately it's not. If sat in the main dining area 3 times, and each instance was a different table. The common theme among each was horrible lighting. In each case the color of the light was terrible and far too dim to the point you feel like you can't see the person across from you. They need to take a hard look at lighting in this location and find ways to improve the atmosphere.

Recently visited this location to celebrate my birthday. Siobhan, our server, was very attentive and helpful! Her service is second to none. She was exceptional - she gave recommendations and she was so sweet! She kept checking in with us and kept asking if we needed anything. She asked what we were celebrating and we told her it's my birthday, she brought a slice of Billy Miner Pie with a little candle on top! We asked he a couple of questions, which she wasn't sure of the answers, but she went to her manager and found out the answers for us!!! Siobhan, you are so good at what you do. Thank you for your kindness and for going above and beyond to make sure your guests are well taken care of. ♥️♥️♥️
