Thai ice tea is delicious! I've been coming here for about a year but this is my first time dining in. Lucky for me, my partner is ok with me dragging them back over and over again 😋

The reason for the negative review is I was ordering takeout like you'd normally would, for Thai, Chinese, etc. They were great at getting it to us ASAP. That was excellent, but I'd rather they took time on portion size (VERY SMALL), hardly any meat or contents (you have to pay extra for meat and not very much of it for each dish. We were all sharing the dishes (4 people). There was just enough food for 4 people ($225.00). This would have made me go elsewhere, forevermore, but after the good reviews, we might come back and just do "take out". I thought the price far exceeded the value of the dinners (i.e., too much sauce), and they need more substance. Can't justify the price with 1/2 the contents. The other reviews were so good that I have to wonder if they are real, or we got a very busy time for delivery (Door Dash who was quick, friendly and got it to us faster than any other delivery service to date.) We just may be back again to review our "review", and change it. Everyone deserves a second chance! PS: You had to give Door Dash minimum of 10% which felt excessive since we paid over $200 for the dinner. I would definitely do pick-up order from now on. Actually getting it myself and be present to see them give it to us.

Jatujak is the best thing that's ever happened in Scarborough. They have the best staff and authentic food. Must come

I Really like the tum yam talay soup noodles. I had been there twice. Very pleasant restaurant and good for the couple for a sweet dates.

I love the other location and food of Jatujak and thought this location would have the same quality. The food they provided was far from that! Felt like old chicken pieces were fried and then too much soya sauce was used to cover the flavor. Could not chew the chicken pieces in cashew nut chicken sty fry. The fried rice also tested bland and not as expected based on the other branch. The soup was ok.

I had previously dined at this restaurant and enjoyed the food, so I decided to try a different location of the same chain. The service was excellent—staff were very friendly and patient while helping me place my order. However, when I brought home the unfinished soup, I was horrified to find a squashed cockroach in it. While the restaurant’s decor is nice, I was also uncomfortable to see a sign in the restroom written in a non-official language, which I found offensive and potentially discriminatory.
