Jules Bistro 法式餐厅

This place was great! The food was really good overall. My main was grilled chicken with mushroom bacon sauce (amazing!) and I got ratatouille on the side instead of salad, also amazing. Fries were good. I started with a Caesar salad, which was good, but not outstanding. Service was good, (but would have been better if I hadn't needed to ask for fresh pepper with with each course).

Wonderful steak tartare; swift and friendly service despite all the waiters being very busy. Nice decor, good atmosphere and just the right volume of buzz.

I had the Chevre Chaud salad. I wasn't sure if it would be filling, but it really was. It was one of the most delicious salads I've ever had. Fresh tasting, and lightly dressed and you get 3 big pieces of baguette smothered in warm goat cheese. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the decor was rustic and cute. I was here for a weekday lunch, and it was consistently busy so you may want to make a reservation if you have your heart set on coming here (and you should). I can't wait to come back to try the french onion soup!

One of our favourites! Lots of great things to try on the menu, the chocolate crepe is fantastic. Sit at the 'bar' in front of the the open kitchen if you want a show along with your meal. Great energy, great vibe.

Jules has become one of my all time favourite date night locations. Both the Queen West and the Spadina location have a cozy, intimate setting with tables fairly close together. This is unimportant however once you're with the right company 😉. The close space can result in a loud din, but again, it's kinda nice. I always feel like I'm in the middle of something big but there's this little bubble for me and my date to get closer and really pay attention to what the other person is saying. The food is phenomenal. This last time we had the salmon tartare appetizer. It's drool worthy and sooooo good it could be a main. But we had the Côte de Boeuf plats à partager... It was perfectly perfect. It comes with a lot of frites, unfortunately I can't eat them and next time we may ask for more of the lovely mixed greens instead of the frites. There's also a side serving of ratatouille to round things out and a serving of crisp baguette under the Boeuf, soaking up the lovely jus. You can't go wrong here, it's a great place, great staff and one of my all around favourites.

I don't think there's a better steak deal than at Jules on a Tuesday. $35 for their 24oz ribsteak with fries, salad, ratatouille and baguettes is an absolute steal. We also ordered a black truffle omlette and their grilled salmon. Which were $20 and $26 respectively. We opted to add the herb butter to our steak, which genuinely wasn't needed as the steak was flavourful and well oiled. Will be back soon.

Cute place, for a nice lunch date, or girls early dinner. Food was good. Patio area is small, quaint, but atmosphere is nice. Prices are reasonable. My fave is the crepes and quiches. But everyone I've been enjoys the menu.

Greate food. A dish is enough they serve a good size. Don't need to have a entrance. Although the entrances are little. You can share. Prices. 23 average main dish. 20 average entrance and 10 dissert.

Have been meaning to come here for so long and I’m disappointed that I didn’t come sooner! This restaurant is fantastic. Came in for dinner this weekend with family. Our server was amazing and provided us with there specials and drink options. They have a very good wine list and if your not too sure what to have, they were happy to provide a sample to make your choice. I highly suggest ordering for an appetizer the goat cheese terrine, it was fabulous! We ordered the cote de beouf which was delicious. We will certainly be coming back for dinner
