Came with a friend for a dinner of 2. Everything was absolutely delicious. Foccacia was perfect texture and already buttered. The shrimp risotto had so much flavour, I wish it was a bigger portion. The lobster pasta was a giant portion on the other hand and still tasted great. Oysters were fresh and tasty but I wish they didn't come already dressed. Will come back.

What a disappointment. We must've dined here a dozen times before the pandemic and before the departure of Chef Rob Gentile. it was always interesting, and the execution tended to be close to flawless. The only thing I can say after last night's visit is that the restaurant is a shadow of its former self. It is true that there was one stand out dish: gnocchi con ricce di mare. but everything else was a bit tired. The signature dish, polpo e vongole, was presented beautifully, but lacked sparkling spirit and the fregola wasnt toasted as in the past and was a bit overdone. The idea of adding a greasy fried artichoke to this dish was a poor one. A garnish? Part of the flavour mix? Unclear. The low points were a pizza bianca with a few pieces of octopus, some silly red chili, and a nondescript cheese, possibly a strachiatella, but it lacked in flavour was a bit insipid; a salad in which many of the greens were old and all were untrimmed. it was very sad to see the once spectacular wines by the glass reduced to six red and six white, and very little of interest in those selections. Our server, Alex, did his best and cannot be faulted for the kitchen failures and lack of executive imagination. it's time to move past the former talented, if now disgraced, executive chef, and do something new and exciting. It's not clear whether the King Street restaurant group is up for the challenge.

Still one of my favourite restaurants for both casual and celebration purposes.

Buca, located inside Four Seasons, is a fantastic Italian restaurant with great vibes. The grilled branzino is a must-try—though the salt-baked option is recommended, it's not my preference. The bread is to die for, absolutely delicious. The lobster pasta was just okay, and the tiramisu was average. The Burrata wasn't bad, and I've heard the pizzas are excellent. Overall, a great dining experience with a lively atmosphere! After our dinner we walked over to enhance arts spa to get a foot massage and that was superb! Great date night idea :)

Amazing experience!! The food was delicious, so flavourful, rich and fresh! My favourite dish was the Bigoli and the Branzino. Bigoli had such rich flavours, if you love duck definitely this is a must try! Our waiter was awesome, he was super friendly, chatty and happy, I love when the waitstaff is welcoming like him. We started we couple of cocktails, my martini was made to perfection just the way I like it. You can bring your own bottle of wine (corkage applies), so we brought our own bottle of Tuscan wine and they happily offer to decant it for us as soon as we were seated at our table. Loved the experience and I will definitely be back!

Toronto is renowned for its vibrant food scene, and our quest for an authentic Italian dining experience led us to Buca Osteria & Bar nestled in the upscale neighborhood of Yorkville. Offering a fusion of traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist, Buca captivates diners with its sophisticated ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. Given the premium nature of Toronto's real estate, restaurants like Buca must optimize their seating arrangements, resulting in cozy dining spaces with minimal room between tables. Despite this, the restaurant manages to create an intimate and contemporary setting for patrons to indulge in a culinary journey through Italy. Buca's menu boasts a diverse selection of Italian delicacies, with a particular focus on seafood. From homemade pastas to wood-fired pizzas, each dish is crafted with care and precision, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. Personally, the fritto misto stood out as a highlight of our meal. To complement our dining experience, we savored some expertly crafted cocktails prepared by the skilled mixologists. Among them, the IL Bruciato left a lasting impression with its bold flavors and impeccable balance. In terms of service, we found the staff to be attentive and accommodating, further enhancing our overall enjoyment of the evening. Buca truly excels in providing an unforgettable dining experience, with every aspect—from atmosphere to cuisine—exceeding expectations. For those planning a visit to Buca, navigating downtown Toronto's bustling streets can be daunting. However, ample parking options, along with convenient transportation alternatives like Uber or the subway, ensure that getting there is a hassle-free experience. Saluti

Highly recommend dining at Buca Yorkville! The food is truly impressive🤌 The service is top-notch, thanks to the experienced staff. I'm still dreaming about the Branzino and the Burrata pizza we had—it was so good I was savoring the taste the next day. My boyfriend and I had a lovely evening and can't wait to return!

I had the dandelion greens and the veal with white asparagus. The greens were nice, but the all star was the olive oil. Just phenomenal. The veal was excellent as well. Thin, tasty, with a nice sauce. I also want to credit Nanan. He was able to reproduce a drink from my description. Well done bartender.

I sat at the bar and had great service. There was not a green salad on the menu but the bartender had them make me one off menu. The pizza is very good and the lobster pasta was excellent but very rich....would be great as a share or app portion.

I visit Buca occasionally and have to say, one of the best pasta places in Toronto. My favourite is the lobster pasta. They have good wine selections as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good Italian restaurant with great service :)
