This place is amazing ! Beautiful atmosphere, great art and music ! My waitress, Shima, was very friendly, looked after me well and brought great energy to the experience. I highly recommend the avocado toast here !

We ordered in from this location and everything was terrible compared to the last time when we ordered. It feels like it came from a small kitchen of someone who wasn’t a professional chef. My daughter got her usual Fettuccine Alfredo which was not creamy just a basic butter pasta with tiny chunks of chicken like those pre cut chicken pieces from subway instead of grilled pieces like usual. Chicken tasted like tofu and was super mushy. I got butter chicken which is my usual and the rice was way over cooked and mushy with the same garbage chicken as the pasta order. Hubby got chicken Caesar wrap and poutine fries and his wrap had tiny bacon bits like a hot dog stand bacon bits that he said tasted weird and his poutine had burnt fries that had gotten so soggy he couldn’t eat them. All dishes had the same nasty chicken throughout. We have had this food before and for the raises prices and the severe quality decrease I will never eat here again.

Came in with a friend for casual dinner midweek. Great service and wonderful, calm atmosphere. Great spot to chat with a friend over good food and drinks. Price is very reasonable. Cool decor as well.

we went there after a night with friends for a desert and coffee, they tried to stick us in a small table when there were plenty of empty tables and chairs and with no one at the door. I could understand if we were there when there would be a rush coming in after us but 90 minutes before closing , No i don't think so. coffee came to the table cold and I ordered an affogato which they need to watch a video on how to make one. smallest scoop of ice-cream ever, i was not impressed, stick to there traditional cakes and lattes and you will be great.

Great spot for our cycling crew! Super friendly staff and plenty of room for all of us. Food was fantastic, service was spot on. Big thanks to Symposium Aurora for a top-notch experience!

Food and atmosphere are acceptable and above average. Unfortunately the service of the waiter's name Ron is so unpleasant and unprofessional. We (10 people) have not finished our food yet, he has already taken out our salad and spinach dip, luckily one of us stopped him to take out the spinach dip but not the salad. Then he gave us the take out box so quickly even we didn't asked for it. He rushed us to pay the bill at 8:05pm even their closing at 11pm. Unfortunately, one of our friends heard that Ron and the other staff just discussed at the corner and find the way to rush us to go! All the dinner he was like a grumpy, no smile, unprofessional hospitality like serving hot stuff just past over the other customer; no asking for any dessert or coffee after main course and rushing for bills; no asking before take out for unfinished food. I will give NO STAR at all and strongly NOT RECOMMEND

Our family celebrated our mom/grandma's 80th birthday here today and it was awesome!! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent!! Something on the menu for everybody. They allowed us to bring in her favorite cake for dessert (and thank you so much for singing Happy Birthday with us!). We will definitely be back!! Thank you again for making our mom's 80th birthday one she will remember forever 😊

2024 review: Still 3/5 stars. Nothing spectacular. Our server was kind and our food came out within a reasonable time, however we waited 30+ m to get the bill and had to ask for the bill. Fish tacos were impossible to eat and full of lettuce and the sweet potato fries were cold. Now that I’m thinking about it I’d probably rate this place 2 stars but I’ll leave the 3 based on location and friendliness of staff. ______________ 2022 original review: The ambiance of Symposium is great (esp the patio!), however the food is just meh. Pictured below is the Cobb salad and an omelette breakfast. The Cobb salad wasn’t even a real Cobb salad; it was just lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and one cold egg, with chicken that was saucy… very odd for a Cobb salad! Definitely wasn’t worth the $25 that’s for sure. My mum’s omelette was good, but wasn’t spectacular. The tomatoes were tasteless and the plate just looked sort of empty like it was missing something… The cappuccino was good and the desserts/cakes are good, which I’ve had before. Also the French toast is pretty bomb… Servers are kind and service is quick. No waiting around which is nice. Would definitely come back here again (as I have a few times now), however I’d just be more selective as to what I order.
