Don’t recommend take out. Portions look smaller than eating in. Ordered superbowl congee with crabmeat and fish Maw ..and fried tofu with vegetables. The fish maw was hard to see as it was micro small and wasn’t able to really taste no seafood b/c there were only specks of it. Really disappointed and feel ripped off. Also, I expected the Super Bowl congee portion to be large, but it was only as big as two 750 ml or so of the plastic takeout containers. I would call to complain, but this was for my mom and she’s hungry so I can’t return it.

Probably the most mediocre Chinese food you can get. The spicy pepper and salt fried pork chop was good, but the portion size was pretty poor. The Cantonese Chow Mein was soggy, and the seafood had a very frozen and old taste. The spicy garlic chicken was simply inedible, as the chicken pieces had way too many tiny bones in them to properly enjoy. Service was also pretty mediocre. Nothing memorable, but the staff also weren't rude, so that's a plus. There are much better Chinese food options in Richmond Hill.

The picture tells it all! Found this bug when we were almost done with the BBQ pork rice. The waiter gave minimum apology and instead of waiving the charge of the dish, only offered a free dessert. This is what happens in a typical Chinese restaurant. Disappointed at the quality of food and service.

This Congee Wong has gotten less busy compared to the North York location. Overall food quality is what you would expect from a chinese restaurant. I had pork and duck rice, and congee. If I had to compare, the food at North York seems slightly better. The congee at both locations is not salty, so it's good to eat when you're sick.

Ridiculous experience. We went in for lunch and encountered a dismissive attitude from the waitresses when assigning us a table. They were impatient when we took just a few seconds to rethink our order. When it was time to pay the bill, we tipped 20 percent before tax. Guess what? They stopped us as we were about to leave, claiming we hadn't paid enough. We had to show them the calculation to convince them we had paid and tipped more than enough. When they realized they were wrong, there was no apology; they just dismissed us again. Guys, you really should not be desperate enough to pay to eat out and have your day ruined

A great congee & noodle place, reasonable priced, consistent great quality, quick & fast efficient service. Braised beef brisket noodle soup with succulent chunks of tender beef and firm al-dente noodles, tasty sauce with the bitter melon beef on a large serving of rice, Singapore rice noodle with a touch of curry kick, large selection toppings for Congee.

Waitresses were efficient and friendly, BBQ dishes were up to par, price was reasonable. Will visit them often.
