Please note, the web says you need a reservation. We made one, and they were able to seat us 15 minutes early. Overall, the service was good. The wait staff share checking in on you and am did it with a smile. We ordered the Chef's choice for two and shared a pitcher of Sapporo. The food comes in waves that are pretty well timed. You are cooking your meat, but that is the experience. We had a great time.

My favourite place for Japanese bbq. My family and I have been going here for years and the service is always great and the food is always top notch! It is super kid friendly as they provide kids utensils and plates and my kids absolutely love eating here.

Jesse was great, if you get her then you're sure to have great service. We ordered the BBQ for 2 ($120) but it was happy hour so had a discount on that. Overall the food was delicious and the 3 dipping sauces along with the 2 foil plates (garlic butter and miso butter) were great additions to the combo. Feels like the quality increased as well as all those sauces

Food was absolutely delicious - so much food! We did the meat variety for 3 - didn’t think we were ever going to get to the end of the food!! Our waitress (kaoru) was attentive and very sweet- all the wait staff work hard and are all very pleasant!

This shop only has sets and does not have all you can eat. But the meats are better than all you can eat. Will go again next time.

This was our first visit to Gyu-Kaku. Our server Lauren was amazing: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. We ordered 2 x 2 person combos and it was more than enough for our party of 5. We will definitely be back!

I'm naturally a picky eater, and normally am not one to enjoy eating meats or anything of the sort, but I pushed myself to try some of their food and I am AMAZED. I ate what they had and did. Not. Dislike. It. For me this proves something to be immaculate! The rest of my family also felt similarly about the restaurant. As far as the service, everyone was extremely nice and overall did as supposed to. The decorations felt very calming, and made me feel extremely relaxed in the atmosphere. 100% would recommend.

I know the owner designed the lunch special for solo diners. But if you dine solo there, you get treated absolutely the worst by the waiter and waitress. All that for what, cus I paid $4 less that the couple next to me in tips? Do not recommend. Also setting minimum tip at 25% for a service like this is criminal.
