Loved this experience and would go again. I didn't expect much from the food and it was ok but it was fun! I chose a surprise course for each one and loved guessing what I was eating.

A few weeks ago i came here to not only eat wonderful food but also experince something different! Not only was the food absolutely worth the price but the idea of eating in the dark with only your sense of smell to guide you was an absolutly intresting experince that i would recommend for anyone to try!. Also lovely shout out to all the amazing and friendly staff 😀

It was certainly a unique experience and my husband and I loved every bit of it We both opted for three course surprise starters and every single dish was flavourful, served hot and simply delicious. Ali , who served us, did an amazing job. We had another engagement to attend to and requested that our dishes be served sooner . It was a packed house but Ali made sure we were served keeping our schedule in mind and he was so helpful with the entire experience of guiding us with respect to food and cutlery It took us a while to settle down in pitch darkness but once we did it was pretty comfortable. We went on a Friday night in June and it was a tad too noisy but that’s not gonna stop us from coming back

Note: Pictures are in the lobby area The experience is one of a kind! I definitely think if you live in Toronto you should come here at least one to support but also just to have the experience. You eat in TOTAL darkness, you learn to adapt to it and get to live what it is like to be blind for a bit. The food is pretty all right, but I definitely recommend doing the mystery dishes to add to experience so you can guess whay the dishes are! It was a wonderful birthday experience!

What an incredible experience! The starter “surprises” were delicious as well as the main course. Our waitress, Diana, was lovely and ensured to attend to our every need. We will be back!

My husband is losing his vision so I thought this would be a great way to have our close family and friends maybe get an understanding of what his world is becoming and the challenges he now faces . It was difficult out at first for me being a bit claustrophobic but after a few minutes it faded . The experience of not using your vision was very different . The staff and food were absolutely amazing ! Feeling your way for your utensils and letting your other senses guide you was absolutely amazing . I was so impressed with our waiter ! He taught us all a lot about the process of handling food delivery and was always smiling . You could tell just from his upbeat tone and laughter . Highly recommend!!!

What an incredible experience. The food was delicious and the servers were so kind and communicative. I got a surprise seafood starter and am only disappointed I cannot go back to order the exact same thing again since it isn’t on the regular menu. It was my favourite part of the meal! Our one “complaint” was we ordered surprise cocktails and wish they had been more complex. Mine seemed to be simply vodka and sprite.

A place you come for the unique experience and nothing else…not the food, not the decor, not the ambiance…nothing. Place is extremely dated and filled with bargain basement furniture. The first clue should have been the ratty “drapery” in the front windows or the duct tape on the chairs in the lounge that this was going to be a great disappointment. Once inside the place not only reeks of cheap but just reeks in general. Definitely in desperate need of a makeover and cleaning (especially the men’s room 🤮). The dining experience is pretty cool, however I think that it gets taken advantage of. Since you literally can’t see your hand in front of your face you also can’t see that the wine pour is half of what it should be or that the shrimp “risotto” is actually rice a roni. Instead of going out of the way to dine here it would have been just as easy to eat McDonald’s in my closet…with a bag of stale farts.

What a cool experience in downtown Toronto! A girlfriend and I came here to try something new and different and we are glad that we did. Our server Ali was so kind, the atmosphere is super immersive and the food was pretty decent! Overall a great time was had!

I’ve had better food on an airplane. My girlfriend and I ate here- we chose the 3 course option with a starter, main, and dessert. Both appetizers were bland and lacked texture, flavor, and seasoning. The mains- filet and the “surprise” (pork chop?) were both overcooked and the sides for both were the same- boxed mashed potatoes and Costco steam-in-a-bag veggies. The desserts tasted like they were bought at a gas station and the wine was undrinkable and came out of a box. I don’t think there’s a single chef or oven in the entire restaurant. In summary, if you enjoy spending $150 for a microwave dinner for two, look no further than O Noir
