We came here for a Wednesday dinner. We started at the bar which had their happy hour specials going. The servers were nice. The atmosphere was laid back and had a musician playing the piano. We ate from the summerlicious menu for our dinner. Every item that came out was great. Highlights were probably the beef short rib and limoncello tiramisu. We will definitely be coming back.

The bread was better than any I tried in Toronto bakeries. The soup and salad were too sour, the fish was good, and the beef, although not overcooked, was tough to chew. The lemon tiramisu was delicious.

We stayed at the hotel and had a dinner and breakfast at the Bosk. We love the design and seating. The food was excellent too. The menu was similar to what you’d expect from similar restaurants but almost every dish has some special twist. The dishes we orders are full of flavors and they are not overly done. The breakfast was great too with a combination of Asian and healthy plates. This is definitely a place to try if you are around the area.

I am not a big lover of hotel restaurants but Bosk was different. Yes it's indulgent but it's worth it. The Google rating doesn't do it justice. If you are looking for refined Italian food with minimalist charm and a deep rich flavor palette, I would recommend Bosk. AJ and Sultan Mohammed offered great service as well. I'm still craving their creative desserts and the tortellini with scallops. Dishes are generally smaller portions but rich tasting and filling.

Phenomenal breakfast! The croissants are probably best in Toronto by far! The hash brown was heavenly. Great service, beautiful spot. Overall amazing!

The food is good here, and the atmosphere is fantastic, but the services are not following the level.

*Winterlicious Menu* FOOD: big disappointment • Winter Citrus Salad: arugula is so so bitter, never I had such a bitter one, it ruined the flavor of whole dish. • Tortellini in Brodo: Pasta is thick and hard, broth was bland and I'm not sure it supposed to have that color. • Venetian Duck Ragu: pasta was under cooked, ragu was bland, duck was terribly cooked and I could barely find any duck in it. • Champagne Cheesecake: no cheesecake flavor or texture, look and taste like a mousse. • Chocolate Intense: not so intense, the salted caramel took the spotlight of chocolate flavor, zero taste of earl grey. SERVICE: although food was horrible, the service is pretty good, up to the standard of an upscale restaurant. VIBE: elegant vibe, surrounded with windows but a little dark during day time as they keep curtain closed at all time.

Experience and food is on par with that you'd expect from a luxury hotel in the heart of Toronto - good consistent food and service but nothing mind blowing. The dishes were well plated and average to good on the taste spectrum. Menu was small but had a good variety of selections between the dishes. Nothing hit out of the park in terms or flavour but nothing missed either.

I visited the restaurant three times this fall/winter, once in October, once in November and once in January, all for weekend brunch. Located on the ground floor of the Shangri-La Hotel, the restaurant serves elevated and filling food in a modern environment and a rather easy going vibe without the elevated price tag of a fine dining brunch/lunch establishment. The restaurant doesn’t seem to be overly busy for brunch; during all three visits, I did not make reservations and was still seated right away. I’ve tried their French toast, pancake and croque madame, and they were just splendid! They were not your ordinary French toast, pancake or croque madame; the extra ingredients and East Asia inspirations will really delight your taste bud if you enjoy sweet things. Plus, they were served on beautiful plates/bowls, which added to the dining experience. The French press coffee was excellent. And just as amazing as the food was the service. The staff members were courteous and attentive, and the level of professionalism and care they deliver is notches up other brunch restaurants. Additionally, the female waitresses are dressed in beautiful qipao dresses, adding a cultural flair. An outstanding brunch experience! (I also noticed that the menu changed slightly during my second visit, as the French toast was in a different style - only incentivizing my visiting again!)
