I paid 30 dollars to evaluate my transfer credits, but after 15 days, one officor emailed me saying that they hadn't received any payment from me and asked me to repay it, which was low efficiency and wasted my time.

ARCHITECTURE COURSE IS AWFUL!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO LEARN NOTHING ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY, SOFTWARE OR INDUSTRY AND INSTEAD MAKE MODELS OUT OF PAPER, LEGO, CLAY, ETC., THEN COME TO U OF T! I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MOST ARCHITECTURE FIRMS WANT STUDENTS FROM RYERSON FROM THE FEW THAT I TALKED TO, THEY LITERALLY SAID THEY CANT GET ENOUGH OF RYERSON STUDENTS. I WAS ACCEPTED IN THE ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM AND THE FIRST THING THAT I LEARNED FROM STUDENTS IN THEIR MASTERS WAS THAT THEY WISHED THEY HAD NEVER GONE HERE. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU??? I QUICKLY TRANSFERRED AND GOT THE HECK OUT OF THERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY DOING PROJECTS THAT MOST OF US DID IN NURSERY SCHOOL. 2023 UPDATE: I work in film now for the DGC (Directors Guild of Canada) and literally all the other set designers went to Ryerson...I haven't met anyone else that went to U of T. It still depresses me so much that I got duped into going to U of T for Architecture school. I feel like I was scammed out of tens of the thousands of dollars...I hope they are losing that much from my review. 2024 UPDATE: It is great to see 30 people thumbed this up. I hope I saved you money and the heartache that U of T caused me. I literally wanted to be an Architect since I was a kid. What a let down it was to find out all my hard work and money getting into U of T was all for nothing...Good Luck to all of you who read my message! I wish someone had told me the same before I applied.

Great academic place with good people!

My home uni. What can I say tho lol :D;D I’m here and soon going into 3rd year tho I’m 17, I get treated like some sort of queen by the older guys who form a cult of personality around me lol, aside from the weird folks who text me out of the blue wanting to be “friends” with me. I personally enjoy this special attention, and feel I am really appreciated here. Top of the line prestige school. Best in all of Canada, better than Waterloo, McGill UBC, if anything. Only downside is that the students don’t seem too brilliant and backlog my dms asking for homework solutions and assistance with assignments

Very good environment and a safe place. Very good facilities like the pool. I came for a grade 8 tour of the campus and it was amazing. They had taught us science and dissected a strawberry to see its DNA. They had provided us with food like crunchy lotus biscuits, soda, and Shawarma. Then we had our tour, the guide was fun and explained stuff to us about the history and the clubs. Pretty good and fun trip in general but has long walks.

A very nice place. Beautiful buildings, a lot of food trucks with street food.

I go here to get dental work done here quite reasonably priced.

Whenever I walk through the buildings, I notice alot of administrative staff chatting and socializing, as if they are not busy enough. And in the Dean's office I deal with, often the secretary is away from her desk, and when there is not very personable. I'm also trying to understand why they need so many assistant and associate Deans. Is this how our tuition payments are being spent? And then they come up with their own faculty and staff awards. Is our tuition being used for that too? And the Executive Assistant Donna in the Dean's office sits at her desk not doing much, other than watching people with her aggressive stares. This is the problem when some people are given higher positions. How much does one get paid for that? And then, there is Helen who shuns certain kinds of people in their Department, and leaves exactly on time as if on a work-to-rule campaign. If they streamlined and reduced some of the staff , I am sure tuition fees could drop. Also I do find some professors and staff condescending . Is that the transformation that happens from having their noses buried in textbooks for many years? They seem to forget from where they came and got started. I had expected a more evolved group of people here and hoped they would treat us as customers not students. Other than that, it is a nice looking campus with some wonderful architectural buildings.
