Food : I was reading about the style of curry while having it. It is a curry specific to Kanazawa region and is known for its thickness and rich taste. Personally I found the taste underwhelming. The rice is too heavy and makes the portions feel larger than they are. Katsu was good but nothing to write home about. Service : Exceptional. Atmosphere : Normal. I did enjoy the cold lemon water in the cute steel cups though, if you're a water person. Chicken katsu curry comes to about $20.

I need to come back. This restaurant is now an immediate tradition for my cousins and I whenever they visit. It's that good. We don't understand why it wasn't busy when we went in, but we got settled and received our food right away. Food was DELICIOUS. Like we order a side of cheese, and it was amazing. Like how do you make a plate of cheese taste so good? It's cheese. Toasted and melted a bit, but pairs so well with the curry. Probably some of the best Japanese curry dishes I've had. The pricing was surprisingly fair for a great portion of food. Price matched sized of meal. We all felt full without having to pay a lot of money. Which is hard to find in downtown Toronto. My cousins loved it. I was enjoying my food so much that I didn't realize I stained my shirt (it was white RIP). So, watch out for your clothes when you enjoy the food 😂

We went 30 mins before closing and got blessed (´∀｀*) the staff was supa swaggy good vibes!! Highly recommend the karaage curry!!

Came here after seeing the hype online and it did not disappoint! The curry was great! Everything was very fresh and the chicken was good to perfection. Laid back atmosphere but very good quick service!! Its not a lot to say other than you gotta come here and at least try the japanese curry!!

Don't let the decor turn you off. This is a surprisingly nice place. The food is good, and the price is okay, but the servers are great.

I like the interior decor and the ambiance. I also think their service is good. But the food isn’t as delicious as I thought.

Serves decent Japanese quick service food like curry and chicken karage . Great service, a nice place for lunch downtown.

As a place pretty clearly inspired by Gogo Curry in Japan, I had high expectations and they were absolutely not met. The curry and the katsu tasted off in a way that made it hard to finish both times I've went. I would absolutely not recommend this place, and would recommend Brown Donkatsu a bit up the road for both curry and katsu. The service was perfectly fine though.

I need a quick lunch and they can deliver a tasty curry beef rice in a dash! Excellent taste and nice Japanese style curry! Yummy!

Wonderful restaraunt, friendly staff, great food. Felt just like I was at home in Japan. Though it's inconvenient that this one was placed next to University Avenue... A lot of suspicious people around this area.
